Power is the amount of work done per unit of time; someone with more strength can have less power.
Muscles aren't pulleys.
Muscles cause movement by pulling and not pushing. Someone like Vinnie could probably hit a snare harder than most bodybuilders, but wouldn't be nearly as strong.

Is Weckl a buff dude? Nope.
Is Vinnie ripped? Nope.
Steve Smith? No.

Interesting points, and randy, haha, that's quite a sign of development in your legs! Well, I don't want to keep this going much longer, since it's a drum forum, but can anyone tell me if this is enough food to be training on? I've got to be eating more calories than my body needs just to sustain itself in order to gain.
This is what I had yesterday and today:
YESTERDAY: Large bowl of porridge
*tuna and tomato sandwich, brown bread( one half of tin)
fruit yoghurt
*tuna and tomato sandwich, brown bread( remainder of tin)
carbs shake with dried milk, semi skimmed milk, banana and scoop of
ice cream
spaghetti bolognese
2 bananas
11.30pm sandwich( 3 slices of brown bread) with heinz sandwich spread
TODAY: cornflakes and 2 weetabix,( didn't fancy porridge today)
a tin of tuna with tomatoes in sandwiches,
fruit yoghurt,
spaghetti bolognese,
carbs shake,(banana/dried milk/milk/ice cream),
handful of nuts and raisins,
bounty chocolate bar,
4 pieces of chicken thighs grilled with baked potatoe and sweetcorn,
carbs shake,(banana/dried milk/milk/ice cream).
Maybe I'll have a sandwich before bed.
Enough to gain muscle training 3 times and alternate days a week? I'll be changing from carbs shakes to protein shakes.

Great careers can flounder with too many muscles.

I use to lift pretty heavy now I am into more reps and lighter weight, it definitely helps with the endurance and consistency especially in playing more extended and complex pieces. I know Virg is into the extreme Yoga, running, swimming,
along with practicing his Behind off cannot help to be trim and cut when you do all that. He is not a real young guy and he can pull off incredibly difficult stuff for LONG period's of time without slowing down abit. I guess the work out routine comes in handy.

Yeah, I'd like to just bulk up for a few months, and then get into cardio whilst continuing to bulk. I just want to get bigger first. If I do a lot of cardio and endurance now, I won't grow, cos my metabolism is fast. That's what I've been told. So it's gonna be heavier weights and low reps for a while I think. We'll see tomorrow.
